About
Our “Alternative-Alternative Breaks” provide members of the W&M community with an opportunity to engage in direct-impact service through a model of conscientious advocacy and activism. Branch Out is a student-led program with opportunities for learning, ethical leadership, mutually-beneficial service, and community involvement.
The Branch Out experience is unique: teams will engage in service-based learning to make an impact while connecting with new people and developing skills in social justice advocacy. Our vision is to create a community of active and educated individuals dedicated to the pursuit of social justice. We aim to grow as active citizens - together.
