Led by Dr. Meredith Kier (School of Education) and in partnership with Newport News Public Schools, this Early-concept Grant for Exploratory Research (EAGER) study explores the hypothesis that if teachers and engineering college students engage in co-planning and co-facilitating engineering design tasks, then teachers would improve their ability to promote culturally sustaining problem-solving processes and solutions by students.
