Innocence Club at William & Mary

The Innocence club at William & Mary, in collaboration with the William & Mary Law School’s Innocence Clinic and William & Mary Law School’s Students for the Innocence Project, aims to educate students on the prevalence of wrongful convictions, advocate for criminal justice reform, and raise funds for local Innocence Projects. We will work toward this purpose through open discussions, educational presentations, and relevant media viewing during regularly-scheduled club meetings. We will lead initiatives, such as holding fundraisers and inviting guest speakers, to give members more hands-on experience with the cause. Through learning and doing, we hope to inspire members to speak out and act against the injustices in wrongful convictions.
